📍 Berdorf, LuxembourgPano cruising through a pretty horrific 6a+ route in Berdorf. This is my first ever drone flight following a climber, so excuse my shaky camera work :). Before buying my drone, I rented a DJI mini 2 to ensure which specs were important to me. This video is shot with the rental drone. I now own my own and am very pleased with it! 7b+ Mike Tyson, Berdorf, Luxembourg
📍 Sy, BelgiumMike Tyson is a 7b+ variation of Mike. Looking at the line, it almost feels more logical than doing Mike (7a), as it follows the most direct path from the start. The crux is a big deadpoint to a good edge. You’ve got two pretty bad crimps and just have to commit. The beginning of Mike Tyson features powerful overhang climbing, with a few different beta options you can use (check the video!). After the crux, you get a no-hands rest and then finish on the normal Mike route. ⚠️ CHECK IF THE ROUTE IS DRY — THE TOP STAYS WET LONGER THAN THE REST OF THE CRAG. De rotsen van Sy waren vroeger voor Nederlanders de plek bij uitstek om de eerste stappen in de rots zetten. Een lange sluiting deed het gebied in de vergetelheid raken. Een forse facelift in de laatste jaren heeft van Sy weer een interessant en prachtig in een rustig deel van de Ourthe vallei gelegen klimgebied gemaakt.
