Klimmuur Spaarnwoude - Odins Eye (5C)
📍 Spaarnwoude, NetherlandsThe easiest route in Spaarnwoude, if we exclude the short route between the two pillars, is Odin's Eye. This route lacks the monos and small holds that typically characterize climbing at Spaarnwoude. With a slight overhang in the upper half, it serves as an excellent warm-up for the other routes.
7b+ Mike Tyson, Berdorf, Luxembourg
📍 Sy, BelgiumMike Tyson is a 7b+ variation of Mike. Looking at the line, it almost feels more logical than doing Mike (7a), as it follows the most direct path from the start. The crux is a big deadpoint to a good edge. You’ve got two pretty bad crimps and just have to commit. The beginning of Mike Tyson features powerful overhang climbing, with a few different beta options you can use (check the video!). After the crux, you get a no-hands rest and then finish on the normal Mike route. ⚠️ CHECK IF THE ROUTE IS DRY — THE TOP STAYS WET LONGER THAN THE REST OF THE CRAG.
