📍 Berdorf, LuxembourgPano cruising through a pretty horrific 6a+ route in Berdorf. This is my first ever drone flight following a climber, so excuse my shaky camera work :). Before buying my drone, I rented a DJI mini 2 to ensure which specs were important to me. This video is shot with the rental drone. I now own my own and am very pleased with it! 7b+ Mike Tyson, Berdorf, Luxembourg
📍 Sy, BelgiumMike Tyson is a 7b+ variation of Mike. Looking at the line, it almost feels more logical than doing Mike (7a), as it follows the most direct path from the start. The crux is a big deadpoint to a good edge. You’ve got two pretty bad crimps and just have to commit. The beginning of Mike Tyson features powerful overhang climbing, with a few different beta options you can use (check the video!). After the crux, you get a no-hands rest and then finish on the normal Mike route. ⚠️ CHECK IF THE ROUTE IS DRY — THE TOP STAYS WET LONGER THAN THE REST OF THE CRAG. De Carrière de Durnal is een voormalige steengroeve met veel makkelijke routes die perfect geschikt zijn voor de eerste stappen in de rots. Het is daardoor één van de populairste klimgebieden van België geworden. De video is opgenomen tijdens de 12 uur van Durnal in 2020. Dit is een vriendschappelijke 'wedstrijd' met als doel om minimaal 1000 meter, of beter nog, alle routes op het massief van Durnal op één dag te klimmen. It was put up in 1990 and had to wait 12 years as a open project eventough many well-known climbers gave it a try, until Simon Plum made the first ascent of this bouldery in Route in 2009 in an inspiring effort. It follows a logical line up the impressive sandstone cliffs hidden a idyllic forrest, and basicly comes down to a one move Boulder at the second bolt, with a one finger pocket that can not be desccriped as overwhelmingly comfortable ...
