In de voormalige steengroeves aan de voet van een oude vulkaan bevinden zich ruim 1.500 routes en boulders. 📍 Glees, GermanyHet bouldergebied Glees strekt zich uit over een twee kilometer lange beboste helling tussen de dorpjes Glees in het zuidwesten en Burgbrohl in het noordoosten. Het gesteente waar je op klimt is basalt, te danken aan de Eifelvulkaan die meer dan 10.000 jaar geleden voor het laatst lava spuwde. Glees bevat honderden boulders van ieder niveau.
